A SHORT HISTORY OF QUALITY COPPERWORKS

QUALITYCOPPERWORKS.COM  is not your basic fabrication shop.  I have spent many years learning this craft. I have now spent over 25 years working for other shops across the United States. I was hired by a struggling copper shop here in indianapolis in 2005. I used the skills I have learned to teach others. By doing this I have been able to show Indianapolis and the greater area that  the lost skills of coppersmithing are not gone. While making the other Indianapolis copperworks shop grow,  I found there was a calling for some that can take a picture of a artifact that has been gone for over 50 years and recreate it. After 3 years of carrying the other copperworks shop. the owner and I had a meeting of the minds and decided that my skills were no longer needed.  So with that said my wife and I decided to open up Qualitycopperworks.com. You know the story where the little fish gets away from the big fish,  I wish them the best.

Custom Fabrication

As copper grows and we stress more green living for this world, the basics will come to life. All of my Custom Copper items from my kitchen range hoods to my copper finials are a one of a kind design.  I did not have to steal some one elses ideas to start this business. As you go from site to site you will see a commo trend they all look alike. Granted there are only a few basic geometric designs that will function for a range hood, but you get my picture.
